Martha's Vineyard

There was a very fascinating little area on Martha's Vineyard that used to be a Methodist Encampment and still holds that name except the homes are privately owned but not the land. The homes are small, wooden, not insulated (and thus summer homes), and VERY close to one another. They are like "Gingerbread homes" - very cute, very colorful and VERY expensive. $375,000-$500,000 (at least) plus $1200 a year in association fees. For a SUMMER home and you don't even own the land!! Oh, and I guess I should tell you there are 350 of these homes.
